Orlando Florida Vacation Savings

Monday, May 18th, 2009
Kathy M asked:

So you’ve finally saved enough money for a trip to Orlando, Florida. If you want to know how to stretch your budget while there, read on. As we all know, Orlando can be a costly tourist destination, and, if your’re not careful you could over extend your budget in the very first day or two.

One of the best ways to avoid this is to thoroughly plan your activities in advance. How can vacation planning save you money? It saves cash by elimationg those costly unorganized splurges that can happen quickly while on vacation.

Another great way to save money on your vacation to Orlando is to go to the local pancake restaurants and get the free savings coupon books in the lobby. They also are available at the welcome centers. These books contain a variety of coupon savings for all the major attractions, restaurants and hotels and more! These are not just cents off coupons, but, savings can be up to 50% or more.

Finally, one of the biggest savings you will find is to travel during the “off” seasons. It is at these times that the vast majority of attractions and hotels offer the biggest values.Taking advantage of these savings can wind up causing you to spend much less for your trip than anticipated, making your vacation twice as much fun!

Also, keep in mind that many of the area hotels offer free transporation to shopping and the larger attractions. When you book your hotel stay, make sure to inquire as to whether they offer transportation. The gas savings using hotel transportation can significantly decrease your vacation costs.
